The Prolight Concepts Group will be demonstrating four new products of interest to mobile DJs at next week’s BPM | PRO show at the Birmingham NEC. Adding to both the company’s LEDJ and Equinox ranges, the new products – which include a starlit dancefloor system – will be on display on stand AB02.
Commenting on the up-coming event, Prolight Concepts Group General Manager, Bernie Marsh, said, "The Prolight Concepts Group, celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year, are excited to show off a multitude of new products at this year’s BPM | PRO show. Our stand will be based around eye candy and pixel-mappable effects that can be used without fog/haze. We will unveil a range of new pixel controllable battens, panels and strips capable of videos and patterns, designed to add a visual element to events."
Debuting at the show, the new Display range from LEDJ comprises a series of LED-powered pixel-mappable fixtures. The first product in the new collection is the LEDJ Display 3D, which is a modular 3D-effect three-segment panel that is powered by 72 tri-colour SMD 5050 RGB LEDs. As with all of the Display range products, the Display 3D offers simple plug-and-play operation and master/slave connectivity as well as complete control via DMX or Art-Net.
Prolight will also be showcasing the latest edition to the Equinox range: the Photon. This fast-moving lighting fixture features six independently-controlled heads that each project a razor-sharp beam of light powered by a 12W CREE quad-colour LED (RGBW). Offering a wide panning movement range of 630-degrees, as well as independent tilt control for each of the six heads, the Photon is capable of creating stunning effects – especially when multiples are linked together to achieve coordinated movements.
A further addition to the Equinox range is the new DJ Plinth Kit, a set of two all-white portable truss plinths that are ideal for mounting lighting effects or speakers as part of an aesthetically-pleasing mobile DJ lighting setup. Designed for easy assembly, without the need for any tools, the kit is available in two size options: 1m or 1.5m. It is supplied in carry bags and includes white lycra scrims and 35mm speaker pole adaptors for each plinth.
Finally, the Prolight Concepts Group has added a Starlit Dance Floor System to the LEDJ range. Designed to give mobile DJs the flexibility to create different-sized dance floors with speed and ease, the LEDJ Starlit Dance Floor System is fully scalable using a combination of 4 x 2ft and 2 x 2ft panels, finished with a sloped aluminium edge trim. With crisp white LEDs inset into high gloss black or white interlocking panels, the Starlit systems are ideal for events such as weddings, parties and corporate events.
BPM | PRO 2016 takes place from Sunday the 11th to Tuesday the 13th of September at the Genting Arena on the Birmingham NEC site.
