Mixcloud Announces New Live streaming Feature for DJs, Artists & Audio Creators
You can now DJ livestream 100% legally, Mixcloud Live, a new service from the Mixcloud website.

DJs that have been live-streaming via Facebook and getting kicked off every 5 minutes will be very happy with the new system that is currently running in BETA mode and as Mixcloud operates on a different licence and collects royalties, you should not experience any issues with being taken down.

The new live functionality works with all major streaming tools like OBS and Wirecast.

“We hope that Mixcloud Live brings a little more fun – and maybe some dancing – into your home and those of your followers. Particularly at this time when the world is socially distant” said Cofounder Nico Perez.

If you want to stream on Mixcloud you need a subscription to Mixcloud Pro – there’s a 90-day trial at the moment and it costs £9 per month after that.
