DJ equipment-manufacturer Denon DJ this week announced the introduction of its upgraded HP Series of high-performance headphones, providing mobile DJs with three revamped models that offer quality sound and robust design.
Created for DJs working at all levels and building on the success of Denon DJ’s previous HP line-up, the new HP600, HP800 and HP1100 headphones have been enhanced to offer better acoustic performance, while their hard-wearing aluminium construction and compact folding design make them a portable solution perfect for taking on the road.
“With our latest family of HP headphones, Denon DJ has a great-sounding unit for every level of user, from enthusiast/hobbyist to the critical professional,” said Karl Detken, Brand Manager for Denon DJ. “Swivelling ear cups for one-handed monitoring, dual connectors and folding design make them as convenient to use as they are great sounding,” he added.
The HP600 features powerful 40mm drivers, wide-range frequency response and 1300mW of power handling, ensuring high-quality sound. In addition, its swivelling ear cups and lightweight design offer comfort for those mobile DJs playing all-day events.
Meanwhile, the HP800 utilises 40mm drivers fitted with efficient neodymium magnets, while also offering an impressive power-handling capability of 1700mW, allowing for clear sound reproduction. Again, the headphones’ swivelling ear pieces, soft cushioning and low weight make them comfortable to wear, while a closed-back design provides effective isolation.
The most feature-packed in the new range, Denon’s HP1100 headphones deliver enhanced bass response and impact thanks to their 53mm drivers – the largest in their class – while they handle 3500mW of power, allowing mobile DJs to enjoy quality, clear sound at high volumes. Much like the other headphones in the HP range, the HP1100 headphones are comfortable to wear and offer a unique dual-pivot ear-cup design with 180⁰ swivel. Compact and portable too, the HP1100s also come with a stylish leather carry-bag included.
All headphones in the HP range utilise dual connectors (¼” and ⅛”), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of equipment.
The HP600 (SSP: £69.99), HP800 (£99.99) and HP1100 (£129.99) headphones will be available from Denon DJ dealers as of September 2015.
