Peavey UK has confirmed the immediate availability of the brand’s passive SP2 speaker enclosure in the UK. The SP2 enclosure is a two-way, full-range/bi-ampable sound reinforcement system that packs a raft of features into a lightweight and compact package.

The speaker features a premium 15” BWX Black Widow 4" diameter VC woofer with a field-replaceable basket, RX™ 22CT compression driver and Sound Guard™ III tweeter protection for optimum sound reproduction. With exclusive asymmetrical Quadratic Throat Waveguide™ technology that helps deliver pristine, precise sound and an asymmetrical horn that directs audio to the audience, not over their heads – SP2 enclosures are ideal for mobile DJ use.

The SP2’s rugged design includes a full length black powder-coated metal grille, black textured plywood construction, rubber feet and M8 threaded mounting suspension points. Power-wise, SP2 enclosures offer 1,000 watts program, 2,000 watts peak, making them particularly suited for use with Peavey’s popular range of IPR2 power amps.
