CHAUVET DJ has announced a new range of LED lighting fixtures which are equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology. This means that they can be controlled from CHAUVET DJ’s new BTAir app directly from a phone or tablet without any additional hardware needed.
The new app is available for iOS and Android platforms, and users can download the free app from the Apple or Google Play stores. BTAir effortlessly pairs with Bluetooth-enabled CHAUVET DJ fixtures, allowing users to create, store and recall scenes, and control colour fades, chases and more. Alongside the app, CHAUVET DJ has announced a collection of three new compatible lighting fixtures: SlimPAR T12 BT, SlimPAR Q12 BT and COLORband T3 BT.
SlimPAR T12 BT has 12 tri-colour (RGB) LEDs, and its compact design easily fits inside pieces of truss, making it perfect for truss warming. An optional IRC-6 remote can also be used for control, as well as DMX, and it also offers standalone automated and sound-activated programs.
SlimPAR Q12 BT features 12 quad-colour (RGBA) LEDs that generate a broad spectrum of colours and achieve natural-looking colour temperatures. Users can easily set static colours or automated programs with the optional IRC-6 remote, or create eye-catching effects with sound-activated and automated programs.
COLORband T3 BT is a linear wash light with twelve tri-coloured (RGB) LEDs on-board and three zones of control for creating dynamic chasing effects. The fixture’s built-in automated programs can be accessed via an optional IRC-6 remote, multiple fixtures can be linked in a Master/Slave configuration or full control of the colour mixing in each zone can be achieved via DMX.
