Following its 2015 US launch, new entertainment lighting brand Marq has announced a global rollout of its diverse range of professional lighting products. This means that Marq Lighting’s product line-up of moving heads, wash and PAR fixtures, GOBO projectors and effects equipment will soon be available throughout Europe, including the UK.
Marq Lighting is an independent brand owned by music equipment industry heavyweight inMusic, the company behind existing well-known DJ equipment brands including Numark, Denon, M-Audio and Alto Professional. Marq was born from a long-established pedigree of innovative in-house DJ equipment design and engineering, where the needs and requirements of performers are understood. This is the philosophy that is to be applied to the new range of lighting products developed under the Marq banner.
The initial Marq Lighting product line-up includes a Gesture range of LED-powered moving head spot and beam fixtures as well as three multi-beam effects under the Ray Tracer brand name. An LED Par can model known as the Gamut PAR H7 - powered by seven 10-watt RGBAW+UV LEDs, a framing spot / GOBO projector called the ONSET 120WW and an effect package comprising five 1-metre LED tubes named the Rezotube Pack rounds out the brand’s initial lighting offering. These fixtures are complimented by two haze machine models and one LED fog machine, meaning that the Marq Lighting range covers all of the key areas of lighting and effects equipment used by modern mobile DJs.
“Backed by the considerable experience and resources of the inMusic Group, Marq Lighting offers high-performance, cost-effective solutions for DJs, clubs, bars and a wide range of venues,” said Toon Servaes, International Channel Manager for Marq Lighting. “Our focus is clearly on the end-user experience. Following our great U.S. launch, we are enthusiastically seeking sales and distribution partners.”
