ADJ Adds Jelly Gressor to Startec Series
Adding to its budget-conscious Startec Series, ADJ has released the Jelly Gressor, providing mobile DJs with an affordable, compact LED moonflower effect that utilises coloured beams and a glowing case to produce two-in-one effects.

The new Jelly Gressor features six 1W LEDs (two red, two green and two blue) housed in a transparent plastic case; producing tri-colour beams while the glowing outer shell provides an additional colour-changing feature. Thanks to these features, mobile DJs can use the Jelly Gressor to add a retro feel to the events they play, especially neon/UV parties which are increasingly popular with college and university students. Furthermore, due to its wide 140⁰ beam angle, the Jelly Gressor has the capacity to fill large areas with bright coloured beams, making it more than suitable for function rooms and other small/mid-sized venues.

In terms of suitability for DJs on the move, ADJ has ensured that the Jelly Gressor requires no duty cycles and offers a low power draw of 21W, meaning it will run all night and stay cool during long periods of use. Not only this, but simple setup and ease of use is enabled by plug n play operation and the range of built-in, colour-change programs offered in Sound Active mode.

Our reworked Startec Series features some futuristic new twists on the old classic effects that were all familiar with, explains National Sales Manager for ADJ USA, Alfred Gonzales. The highly portable Jelly Gressor is our modern take on the classic moonflower effect, and with a tri-colour light source, super-wide beam angle and clear plastic casing, it provides users with incredible two-in-one colour-changing effects, enabling them to bring pure lighting excitement to audiences without blowing their budget.

Ideal for DJs on the go, the Jelly Gressor weighs in at just 1.7kg, while its measurements (270 x 263 x 107mm) offer compactness and portability, making it well-suited to use in a mobile setup and in venues with limited space. Thanks to its single yoke, users can mount the fixture above the dance-floor, stage or bar, while a rear safety loop offers added security.

For a more extensive lightshow, mobile DJs can daisy-chain the power supply for up to the 30 Jelly Gressors at 230V, saving on extensive wiring and allowing users to quickly and easily set up their mobile rig.

The Jelly Gressor will be available in the UK from late April 2015.
