Successful American mobile DJ Bill Hermann has launched a brand new podcast called ‘Creative License’. Available in both video and audio formats, the weekly broadcast will take the form of short (5 to 10-minute) programmes featuring Bill sharing his ideas and experiences on a variety of different mobile-DJ-related topics.
No stranger to podcasting for DJs, Bill co-hosted ‘The Bill and Jason Show’ alongside fellow DJ and educator Jason Jones for 10 years from 2006 to 2016. Bill is also known for his ‘The Entertainment Experience’ two-day workshops designed to advance the careers and businesses of event professionals by pulling together elements of storytelling, staging, transitioning, and performance to help DJs plan and execute better events. For his new podcast Bill will draw on some of the areas covered by the workshops as well as sharing his own unique perspective on current DJ trends and hot topics.
“This video (on YouTube) and audio podcast is a fun and often times different look at DJs and the entertainment industry from my point of view,” Bill explained to Pro Mobile. “I’ll talk about what I teach in The Entertainment Experience Workshop. I'll be honestly speaking my mind, sharing stories, teaching, and giving advice from my own experience, all the while taking my own quirky brand of creative license as I go.”
New instalments of the Creative License Podcast will be published weekly on Thursdays and the first ‘Pilot Episode’, in which Bill explains what to expect from future shows, is available now.
