The latest addition to the Prolight Concepts Group’s Equinox range is a distinctive fixture which uses a collection of different textured glasses to create a truly unique effect. Powered by six 15W quad-colour LEDs, the Hypnos creates a mesmerising projection of moving and colour-changing patterns that are perfect for adding excitement to a dancefloor even when smoke or haze effects can’t be used.
Offering Auto, Sound Active, Master/Slave and DMX operating modes, the Hypnos is equally suited to use as a ‘plug-and-play’ effect as it is to integration into a larger DMX-controlled lighting system. For the latter it offers a choice between 10 or 34 channel operation, while the optional Equinox CA 8 remote can be used for basic control over stand alone and master/slave operation.
The fan-cooled fixture is supplied with a variable angle hanging bracket that can be used to rig it from a T-bar stand or truss structure. It’s rear panel features a 4-segment LED display for mode selection and DMX addressing, while both IEC power input AND output sockets are provided to allow daisy-chaining of the mains supply to multiple fixtures.
