At the forthcoming NAMM music industry tradeshow, ADJ will unveil five new additions to its portfolio of entertainment lighting, LED video and atmospheric effects equipment. The Entour Pileus is a tour-ready fog machine designed for large-scale productions.
The UB12HB is a battery-powered linear LED wash fixture featuring 20-Watt color mixing LEDs. Finally, the VS1, VS1 FLEX45 and VS1C are all high-resolution modular LED video panels, including options for creating curved displays and screens which feature 90-degree turns with seamless curved corners.
The latest addition to ADJ’s popular Entour Series of atmospheric effect generators, the new Entour Pileus is a professional-grade multifunction fog machine / fazer designed for large-scale productions. Built into a robust fight case with locking castors, it can be used either to generate large blasts of fog or a thin mist of beam-enhancing ‘faze’ (haze created using regular fog juice). The machine features a powerful 1650W heater, variable speed dispersion fan and advanced fluid consumption control, allowing for precise output adjustment and continuous operation for up to 35 seconds. With an impressive output of 60,000 cubic feet per minute, it can quickly fill even the largest venues. Featuring twin 5.6L tanks, a warmup time as low as 16.5 seconds, a variety of control options and an innovative self-cleaning function, the Entour Pileus is the ideal atmospheric generator for tours and large events.
Building on the success of the UBL12H, the new UBL12HB is a battery-powered linear LED wash luminaire. It features twelve extremely bright 20-Watt RGBAL+UV color mixing LEDs which can be used to generate a vast spectrum of colors. Thanks to the inclusion of a lime LED chip, this includes white light with color temperature variable between 2,300K and 9,900K and a CRI in excess of 90. Independent control of each pair of LEDs allows for the creation of animated chase effects, while multiple operational modes – including sound active triggered by an internal microphone – make this a versatile fixture suitable for a wide variety of applications. It can sit directly on the floor for wall uplighting and features a magnetic alignment system for quick deployment of multiple fixtures. In addition, the fixture is supplied with variable angle mounting brackets which can stand on the ground or attach to clamps for truss mounting. The unit’s internal Lithium-ion battery offers up to 20 hours of continuous operation with a 5-hour recharge time, making for a truly versatile fixture.
The latest addition to ADJ’s Vision Series of modular LED video panels, the VS1 now offers the highest resolution in the range. With a pixel pitch of 1.9mm (0.07”), brightness of 1500 NITS, an ultra-high refresh rate of 7680Hz and contrast ratio of 10000:1, it generates vivid, clear visuals. The panel comprises four independent LED modules, which are easy to replace out on the road, and features pop out corner protectors for use during setup, tear down and transportation. Another new addition to the range is the VS1 FLEX45, which offers the same LED arrangement and features as the VS1 but has the ability to curve up to 45-degrees in either direction (concave or convex). Alternatively, the VS1C is a curved section designed to sit between two VS1 panels to create a seamless 90-degree corner.
