Available Now: Prolight Releases Equinox Fusion Series!
Prolight Concepts has released its brand new range of Equinox Fusion fixtures, providing mobile DJs with a series of portable moving heads and scanner effects that can be linked together to create synchronised active lightshows featuring GOBO patterns and beams.

All three fixtures in the range – the Fusion Spot, Fusion Scan and Fusion Roller – are fitted with single 12W white LEDs and high-quality stepper motors, allowing users to create a range of bright effects and trigger pre-programmed lightshows that can run at three selectable speeds. Movement is made flexible thanks to the 166⁰ pan and 54⁰ tilt movement offered by the Fusion Scan and Fusion Roller, while the Fusion Spot ensures increased scope with 540° pan and 270° tilt.

Adding colours to these lighting displays, the new products also utilise seven static colours, as well as seven GOBOs (plus open), giving mobile DJs the freedom to project distinctive patterns in a range of colours down onto the dance-floor, creating a party atmosphere for their audiences. These effects can also be enhanced using variable strobe effects and 0-100% dimming.

In terms of control, users can select between 1-, 8- and 10-channel DMX modes, for in-depth programming, or operate the fixtures using the simple but effective auto, sound active and master/slave modes. The latter of these enables mobile DJs to link either the Fusion Roller or Fusion Scan with the Fusion Spot, for a synchronised lightshow that combines active beams with flickering, fast-moving scanner effects – ideal for bringing energy to the dance-floor at weddings, birthday parties, school proms and other events.

“The Fusion range brings together several popular products which can be master/slave linked,” explained Bernie Marsh, Prolight Concepts General Manager. “Never before has there been these features and output on fixtures at this price point.”

Not only are the Equinox Fusion fixtures powerful and linkable, but also compact and portable, making them well-suited for use in a mobile setup where space is vital. Weighing just 2.5kg and with compact dimensions (296 x 140 x 175mm), mobile DJs can take multiple Fusion Spots, Rollers or Scans on the road with them without taking up valuable space in the car or van.

In terms of additional features, there is a hanging bracket supplied with the Fusion series products, allowing users to mount them up high in order to produce exciting overhead effects for their audiences. An optional CA 8 controller is also available, offering mobile DJs yet another way to operate their Fusion fixtures, adjusting basic settings and controlling primary features.

The Equinox Fusion Spot, Fusion Scan and Fusion Roller are available now from Prolight Concepts.
