Monacor UK Ltd, the UK subsidiary of German lighting and audio company Monacor International GMbH, has announced an exclusive distribution partnership with Gemini DJ to supply the UK and Irish markets. The new deal will see Monacor UK stock and distribute a wide selection of both Gemini DJ and Pro Audio products, as well as providing after service support through their own UK service centre.
Based in New Jersey, Gemini has a long and distinguished history in the DJ industry having played an important role in the development of DJ culture throughout the world. Although Gemini has been fairly quiet within the UK and Irish marketplace over recent years, the company aims to bring the brand back to being a key player within the market.

In support of the new distribution arrangement, Monacor UK will be launching a dedicated Gemini UK website to allow dealers to view stock and pricing online. The site (geminisounduk.com) is expected to go live on the 1st of August in time for the first stock hitting the UK.
The newly-formed partnership also have big plans for the upcoming BPM | PRO show being held at the Genting Arena, Birmingham in October, having booked one of the largest stand spaces available and renewal of their sponsorship of the Freestyle DJ competition. It will also be the first opportunity in Europe for DJs to experience the highly-anticipated new SDJ-4000 dual deck USB media player.
