During February, Serato and the team behind Allen & Heath’s Xone range will be offering four free masterclass events across the UK. The ‘Serato + Xone Education Tour 2016’ will give mobile DJs the chance to find out more about Allen & Heath’s Serato-compatible mixers and put questions to staff from both companies.
The Xone:43C, Xone:DB2 and Xone:DB4 – Allen & Heath’s latest Serato DJ-ready DJ mixers – will all be on display, providing attendees with a chance to get up close to the new products and check out their new features. Guests will also be shown how the company’s :K Controller maximises your setup options by providing added access to cues, loops, Serato DJ FX, sync, play/pause, pitch bend up/down, and more.
Members of the Xone team and Serato DJ will be on-site to conduct a series of presentations and offer tips and tricks for using the new mixers in the most-effective ways possible, demonstrating the latest features in Serato DJ, including harmonic mixing with Pitch ’n Time DJ, hardware remapping, and pulselocker.
Each workshop will also dedicate time to answering the questions of attendees, with staff on hand to provide detailed answers and share their technical knowledge while guests check out the Serato/Xone setups.
The ‘Serato + Xone Education Tour 2016’ will visit four venues and take place on the following dates:
Thursday 15th Feb – Decks (London, NW2 6QG)
Friday 16th Feb – SubBass Academy (with Westend DJ) (London, SE1 7LL)
Saturday 17th Feb – DJ Tech Direct (Birmingham B9 4AA)
Sunday 18th Feb – Rubadub (Glasgow G1 4BA)
These events will also give mobile DJs a chance to bag themselves various prizes, including Xone record bags, Serato t-shirts and Serato control vinyl, as well as caps, lanyards and other general merchandise. One lucky winner will also go home with an Xone:43C mixer bundled with Serato Suite, along with extra goodies. (The prize draw will take place after the tour finishes.)
